First post on the forum, spend more time reading than writing :-)
Thought I would share the pictures of my diy trailer extensions that I completed recently. Quite a few old threads showing some examples. Thought I would share mine too. My trailer is the daxara 107.
Next steps will be to paint the galvanized section of the trailer with some nice car paint however, one step at a time :-) hope this inspires someone to have a go doing it themselves.
Total cost for the extension was approx. £24 for the wood, the hasp latches, the elastic cleats and the paint.
For the wood I used tantalised off cuts from a local timber merchant. The other bits and pieces were from eBay or similar online retailers.
Looking good. Very similar to what I have done with my little trailer .I've replaced the bungee cord on mine but given it extra length to make use of the original hooks on the trailer.

Thanks appreciate the feedback at Spuddy237 you may see it in the flesh depending on the dates you are at Hendra as we will be there in August too - can't wait:-)
Thanks for the responses. I was not really sure which way to go from a painting perspective. I was sorely tempted to go for a candy green utilising some car paint from a local paint shop (Specialised paints in Sheffield), however we have a silver car an my gut says I should just hammerite it :-)
Is it possible to use car paint over etch primer? Must say I have never used etch primer..
