Looking good. Very similar to what I have done with my little trailer .I've replaced the bungee cord on mine but given it extra length to make use of the original hooks on the trailer.

That looks really good.
I built my own in 1980 using indespension units with mini wheels and chassis parts from honeyfield trailers.
Still going strong now.

Are you going to paint it all black? you need to be careful when its sunny, it will be way too hot to touch.
The metalwork more so than the wood.

To paint galvanised metal you will need to put some sort of etch primer on first, else it will not take to the metal and will look rubbish.

We always use a etch primer even with Hammerite paint, on any fabrications we do that gets painted , after being galvanised!!
