you can buy glass wasp traps from most good homeware shops. they're a funny bell shape with a dish at the bottom for sugary water. they seem to work

Oooh I've got to get one of those bug zappers. I hate wasps. Last summer after being chased for my tea by numerous wasps I ended up eating, zipped up in the bedroom so they couldn't get me  not quite the way you want to spend a nice summer evening

ive just bought some anti insect wipes from lakeland plastics. The idea is to wipe your table and chairs etc... with them and the bugs inc wasps should stay away.

We had a wasps nest in the eaves of the house, not nice.

When the council bug man came to remove the nest, he squirted some powder into the nest, which then sent them into a frenzy and affected their immune system - even worse than when they were normal!  This settled down after a while, but I am truly petrified of them and am going to buy the items suggested to get rid of the pests!!

hehe.. reakon that'd be a top job inventing the 'makes' for blue peter!

yep you tape the two halves together with sticky tape (gaffer tape's best as it's more waterproof)

We always take incense sticks with us whenever we go away...keeps all sorts for uninvited flying creatures away...and makes the the tent smell nice too...you can get special garden ones..but we just use normal household ones.. 'Environment' have some really nice ones for £1.00 a pack..!

Why can't we live in the tent..?
