The tyres on my 50l waterhog tend to peel off when transporting full. Has anybody any experience of this and more importantly what do I have to do to resolve the problem. Many thanks
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Or you could buy 2 x 30 ltr. 'Water Porter' barrels as an alternative. That provides another 10 litres of fresh water with an immediate change over when one is empty and refill just one 30 ltr. barrel.
Known problem with these carriers, along with other quality control issues. Some people glue tyres on, others just take them off permanently if on grass. You gets what you pays for.
------------- Camping Gear expands so as to fill the space available for its transportation.
Thanks Hairywol! I have 'glued' them on with silicone.
Next outing with van is next week. fingers crossed for a trial run...silicone should have completely cured by then.
