I see lots of reviews for the Cadac Safari Chef 2 but not many for the Campingaz Party Grill 400 (assume as it is fairly new). Does anyone use one and have a view on it?

Looking to get either of the above but leaning towards the Party Grill 400 as you can see the flame when using it, and other than that they seem comparable. I know a Party Grill 600 or Carry Chef 2 would be bigger but when we go away normally we go with someone who has one, so this is just when we are on our own or as an addition (the size of the Carry Chef 2 would probably be an issue)

We have a Campingaz 400 and love it. Our friends have the Safari Chef and we have tried and both them and us prefer the Campingaz. It is the easiest out of the two to clean as well.

Where did you order from? They are supposedly on offer at Yeomans (but haven't any stock, which isn't much help).

Surprised you could understand what I was saying, thought I had proof read it aswell Lol
We got ours from go outdoors but it was in February before the season started. I think we paid £90.00 with the gas hose, connector and portable gas bottle thrown in.

Good grief, you must have been quick to bag one of those from Yeomans!

I noticed that Cadac now produce a Grill O Gas, which looks a bit smaller than the Carri Chef but not as tiny as the Safari Chef.

Should be some end-of-season sales on, soon...

Party grill arrived early this morning,regulator thrown in FOC which wont get used as we plug in caravan BBQ outlet.Had a dummy run for lunch in garden,EXCELLENT.Will now sell regulator so reducing cost.
