or covered pop up to give an extra shelter for kids etc??

A Gazebo isn't recommended and some sites outright ban them because of the damage they do to cars and tents etc when they take off in the wind - and they do. The pegging points aren't adequate and there's just too much surface area to hold the thing down.

You could try a tarp and poles as long as you take it down when the wind picks up.

I use the Quechua Base Seconds as a utility tent and for extra space.

I have a Coleman Event Shelter, it's stronger than the cheap pop-up gazebos but takes a little longer to put up.
It withstands moderate winds but it's a good idea to take it down if high winds are forecast.

Agree with Campernic. Those things can be lethal in high winds. I did buy one a couple of years back, but came to my senses and only put it up in the garden in the end.
