In a never ending quest to reduce the size and weight of my gear I picked up 3 lightweight lidl chairs and table. I have only shown one to the wife. The rest and the table are hidden in the boot of the car.
They are a reasonable copy of the helinox chair one. Just like the chair one, they are low. Too low for the wife. To placate her I am going to have to extend the legs but what size is the tube?
It looks like 11 mm.

All in all it is comfy for me but too low for our main table.

I bought some clone of the higher backed sunset chair from Amazon - so good I got another one.....

I bought one too, they came in to stock in my local Lidl last Thursday. I was only going to get the chair but ended up with the last table as well.

I can see me having to get Tennis balls to stop the feet sinking in to the ground.

The rubber stoppers seem quite good on them but I was thinking of fitting the long trekking pole feet to the bottom. Another trick is to hang the storage bag on the front two poles before you start the cloth. It gives a wee storage compartment.
Basically three chairs and a table take up less room than one of our regular chairs.

Would really appreciate feedback on the clone version as may consider a purchase. Does it look solid enough to last and is it real comfy?

We've got the Outad clones of the low backed chair. Very pleased with them. I can't see any reason for them not to be perfectly durable, the fabric, stitching and other materials all seem good to me and they're comfy enough to use all day at a festival.

We have used it in the garden for a few hours and was impressed enough to get a second ahead of this weekends camping... Can't see any difference to the helinox one by the pics but if not liked Amazon are excellent at returns
