I just threw the Gelert Horizon 8 carpet and whole tent in the bin at keswick club site. >_<
Oh man I would have had that off ya.
Sorry mate =(
Basically what happened was I turned up at the campsite during strong gusts and heavy rain. Attempted to put my own tent up Nevada M but ended up snapping poles.
Was packing up feeling defeated and was ready to go home. But a couple came up and said they are going home and asked If I would like to buy their Horizon 8 ready pitched. I jumped at that offer £60 for 8berth tent including carpets.
Tent did the job and saved my holiday but I never intended to keep it. fabric had mildew on it but the carpet was in great condition.
The tent has one massive design flaw. The pullcord pockets on the floor of the tent were the cause of a big problem. After lot's of rain a pool of water developed under the tent. These pockets let water into the tent, but even worse hundreds upon hundreds of worms. I lifted the the bedroom section up one night due to a horrible sweet smell and coudn't believe the amount of worms.
So on the morning we had to leave I rolled everything up in bin bags and left.

Yes groundsheet is sewn in. But for some reason there were pockets actually built into the groundsheet. I have no idea what the purpose of them were.
