The Microwave in our caravan will not heat food it has all the lights on and makes the noise and the plate goes around but no heat. Has anyone had the same or any advise please.

sounds like its dead! unless you're trying to heat something very dry - occasional things just don't seem to heat.

Yeah its goosed, Happened to me a few months back. Managed to get a direct replacement off e-bay for £80.

It probably is "goosed", but might be worth checking on another site or at home. I've encountered a few sites with such low EHU output that the microwave will appear to work ... but doesn't. Works ok elsewhere though.

I've even had the occasion where a new Thetford digital fridge kept going into error as the EHU output was only about 200vAC (I didn't bother measuring the current).

Thanks for your advice everyone. Paul I tried it on hook up at home but still no luck, think it will be cheaper to replace than get repaired as is the case for a lot of things these days.

Yes we had exactly the same thing when we bought our caravan new and it was replaced under warranty.
It went through the complete time cycles each time whatever the setting but did not heat.
