On site at Porthcawl went to fill up water carrier yesterday and one of the end black holders that the handle fits it has come off, looked everywhere no sign. I've checked usual sites eBay Royal etc no one seems to sell these as a spare. Don't want to buy another if I can help it for one small holder. As I'm not Charles Atlas had great fun moving it by foot across the site.
Any suggestions web site etc gratefully appreciated.
Have you still got the piece that came off? If so or even if you managed to get another, it was probably fixed on with some kind of adhesive. Plastic in general can be difficult to stick things on to, perhaps someone will have a suggestion as to a suitable adhesive?

Any chance you would get away with fitting spares from an Aquaroll.

As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
They sell the handle holders for the Aquaroll by F.L. Hitchman so there's a possibility that they may sell them for the Royal Aquarius water barrel as well. Maybe worth giving the company a ring to find out if they stock them.
FL Hitchman are the actual manufacturers of Aquaroll/Wastemaster so I doubt if they would keep any spares for a rival company.
Also the link to the spares is in my first post.

I didn't mean obtaining the spares from F.L. Hitchman as they are not going to stock spares for a rival company like you say. I was referring to the company in the link that I posted (Tent Spares) as they may have the end sockets for the Royal Aquarius although they are not listed under the 'Royal' spares category.
Royal never replied to my email much to trivial for them I guess so when I renew it will be an aquaroll. I bought a couple of acquaroll ends from a local large camping shop and found they were a little bit too large, better than too small, so a small piece of cardboard inside as a temporary measure did the trick.
Well, there you go. These companies such as Royal may think it trivial to respond to your plight for spares but as I was thinking of buying a new Royal Wessex awning in the near future but I don't think I'll bother now due to their poor customer service.
Such a shame when companies treat their customers like this and dismiss after-sales service as a waste of time & effort. I believe that the true value of any company or organisation is the way they treat their customers when something does go wrong.
