I've got 4 ultrasport 10cm sims. 2 bought in 2015 and 2 this year. All 4 have leaks at the seams, near the valves.

I've read other comments saying this is a common problem with SIMS. So we don't want to use any sort of air bed anymore.

Can anyone suggest a good roll up matt which will work well with a folding camp bed? I'd be interested if anyone can recommend any particular carp beds too.

We use 6-10cm single bed size memory foam toppers on our camp beds as they fit perfectly on our beds, maybe get a 2'6 one thats 4" thick.

I use backpacking air beds. The cheapest are uninsulated but the two dear ones I have are insulated.

Extremely small pack size and they do insulate and they are comfy.

I've not tried them but the big agnes air core is part of their sleeping bag system but you can buy separate

I'm guessing if they did not leak you would be quite happy with them , have you tried a repair , 5g of stormsure flex adhesive should do the job just fine.

Seam failure maybe a common problem on the ultra cheap sims but not all sims are created equal. I hate the saying "you get what you pay for" but in this case it seems fitting.

Thanks all. I am in the process of looking at a warranty claim and replacements.   It turns out all 4 of my sims have the exact same problem. I would rather send them back than try to fix it as the punctures are all right on the joins. I imagine they'd be difficult to fix and it's going to happen again anyway.

I agree it might be that just buying a more expensive brand could solve the issue but I think I'll look at non inflating solutions first as it would be nice to never have to deal with leaks.

I'd like to try simple camp beds and a decent roll up mattress/topper.

I've got some aging thermarests that are 25 ish years old. Never had a problem with the seams or valves. They do however need a little extra help to inflate these days. Most posts I've seen seem to suggest sims to top camp beds instead of leaky airbeds.

Amazon have agreed to refund all of them if I send them back.

Maybe I'll try a different SIM sometime, but for now I'll look at some sort of foam/topper on a camp bed.
