Help !!!

Away at the moment and the fidge has thrown a wobbly

Started by failing to cool on 230v; no warning/failur lights. Manually changed to gas operation and was ok for a couple of days but now the unit shuts down after about 5 minutes. Switch it back on and seems fine for 5 mins or so

anybody got any ideas...the wine is getting tepid !

Do you have an awning erected on the side of the van and if so are the fridge vents on the same side?
If so then make sure there is ventilation in the awning because if the fridge gets too hot it is likely to shut down to lack of ventilation which makes me think why it only operates for around 5 minutes on both gas and electric.

Sounds as if the coolant could be leaking out. You need to check underneath, can you see any brown liquid. If coolant is leaking then fridge is usually beyond economical repair.
