My FiL need a new compressor for car, caravan and bike tyres.
Spec needed is :
12v from cigarette lighter in car
Capable of more than 100psi for his Brompton tyres
Clip on adaptor to tyre valve
Up to 50 cost
Does such a compressor exist?
Thanks... Paul

I have had one for years, but I'm not sure of the make or if they are still available. According to the spec, it is capable of 100psi, but I hate to think how long it would take to reach it. That is the problem with these mini-compressors.
------------- Best Regards,
Colin

I find a bike track pump quickest for pumping all tyres, car, caravan & bike. Takes a bit of effort but quicker than faffing about with electric pump. Track pump is fine for Brompton. Just pump tyres as hard as they will go.
Car & caravan tyres need accurate pressure though so buy a track pump without it's own pressure gauge & use a separate gauge to get correct pressure. With a bike just pump up as hard as possible.

I have the Ring RAC700 which works superb, although it does suck around 14amp, so check first the fuse rating on your auxiliary 12v socket, most cars are 20amp although some are just 10amp.
Lidl are doing what looks to be the exact same model as the Ring RAC700 from last Sunday at £12.99 bargain compared to the Ring.

That only goes up to 100psi, not beyond it, and has the screw on valve connector, not the stipulated clip-on type.
I have the digital version, but alas, that's the same screw-on connector and 100psi limit.
For reference, it took around 9mins (from memory?) to pump one of my (tent) air tubes to 60psi... and was choking, spluttering, and getting somewhat hot under it's collar, by the time it finally got there!
So, in summary then... nope, I can't help the OP in his quest! Sorry!

Here's a link to all Ring's offerings... scroll through the tabs across the top for each model.
Might be worth a look, then shop around, if you find a suitable model?

Looks like you can also change a screw-on connector for clip on, if needs be.

Thanks for the responses.
Going to try a Heyner Big Air 40l as it seems to tick all the boxes.

Just had a look at the Lidl German website, and the Lidl compressor is rated to 35lt and 150 psi, which is not far of the "Heyner Big Air" but for a third of the price!

I have a Ring compressor which is brilliant, but find that I use this pump most of the time
pump
We have Bromptons and it copes very easily with them, it goes up to 180 psi

another vote for a manual track pump for pumping everything up, even the crocodile! A bit of exercise, no noise, very reliable and cheaper.

Machine mart is worth a look---300 psi one for about £27--a few others available. They do quite a bit of gear useful to campers although not always considered when looking for gear.
