Hi all I am looking for a rug / carpet for my narrow Trigano caravan and am struggling. The width is only 21 inches and is 60 inches long. Does anyone have any idea where I can get this rug from?

Can you not just buy an offcut from a carpet shop and cut it down some more as needed? If you go to an independent and ask them nicely they might even cut it for you.

Trouble with cutting an off cut is the sides are not bound and they fray. Had abloom on eBay but can't see any bespoke ones.

Just get the cheapest rubber backed carpet you can find.

We paid about £2 sq/m and it rolls up really nicely, lies flat and doest slide around as its reasonably heavy weight and has the rubber back.

In my view its much better than any of the thin fleece rubbish that I saw in Go Outdoors, and about a fifth of the price.

No issues with fraying.

We use the washable doormats available from supermarkets, laid end to end. We need to lift them to access the socket for the table leg.

We have a runner in our hallway at home. It was made from the off-cut from the stair carpet.
Took it to some woman on the indoor market in town (in main shopping centre), gave her the finished dimensions, and collected a few days later, all finished off around the edges with some sort of professional sewing border finish! (Can you tell I don't have a clue what I'm talking about!).
Anyway... looks great, can't fray, "made to measure", and cost about a tenner (not including cost of the actual carpet/remnant, of course!)

Worth a mention, I thought?

We have just had two rugs made for our new caravan to replace one's supplied with the van as we didn't like the colour.these were made by a local carpet edging specialist and made to measure. Two rugs for £20!!
Do a search for any carpet edging specialists in your area..They usually use leftover carpet off cuts which they buy cheap.

we are in the process of replacing the carpets in our van, bought the carpet from shop, cut it out and took it back for them to bind the edges
