We have just purchased a Bailey Pursuit 400 and would like to purchase an Air Awning to fit but not sure of the sizing! This is where someone may be able to help - I need to know the length of the straight part of the awning channel on the caravan but ours has gone straight into storage , so I am stuck!
Please help if you can as the prices are very good at the moment with most places getting shut of old stock, and would like to get ready for next season. Thanks.
Unfortunately not on website , I have emailed Bailey's without any response. Only info I can get from the caravan spec is that the Awning size is 843cm but this is for a full Awning not an Air Awning! Thanks anyway.
A friend of ours has a van slightly smaller than yours and the 280 only just fits keep in mind that a 280 will go over the Front near side window some people don't mind but personally I don't like it as it risks scratching the window. Something smaller than the 280 and you should be able to miss the window

We asked a Bailey sales rep how long the straight track length was. He said about 4 metres, but I got the feeling that he plucked a figure out of the air.
If you are spending >£500 on an awning, the only way to be sure is to measure it.
We went to our local caravan dealer who sells awnimgs and he had a chart that told you if your chosen awning fitted your caravan and if it compromised a window or not. We have a bailey and the dealer is a swift agent. We just asked if our chosen dorema air awning fitted our bailey and he produced the chart. It showed we could have a 330 model but not a 350 as that would fall on a window.
