Hi last time out we used our Cadac carri chef, the flame was more orange than usual and didn't seem to get as hot.
Any ideas what the problem could be? We had plenty of gas as it was a new bottle and the hob in the caravan was perfectly ok.

I agree ours is a bugger for getting the jet covered with grease, just clean the jet and most likely all will be good again.

ps Don't clean it by poking it with something metal.

Yellow flame can also mean an air leak around the jet area. Make sure that the stem is seated correctly in the leg assembly. This happened to mine and it turned out that the stem had worked loose. A firm push to the stem sorted it all out.
