We have a water heater on our stove, the tap was v stiff this trip but OH didn't want to use wd40 or anything for some reason. Now the black handle has snapped off. Don't want to buy a new one as they're out of stock but also £96!! We go home tomorrow but need some ideas for next month?

What about mole grips as a temporary handle. Can you post a picture so we can see the damage?

We're on our way home now so picture to come tomorrow or Sat but there's nothing else to grip onto as it snapped the whole handle off
