Thanks for all replies.
Can I just ask B Chrystie - do the anywhere beds go down overnight like most airbeds?
Are they 'proper' size single and double?
Are they very heavy?
Are they very large when packed up?
Thanks for your help

If you look at the measurements next to the picture, yes, they are "proper" single/double sized. Also, the measurements of the storage bags are given, so I'm assuming that that includes the contents! (as opposed to being an empty bag folded up)
Can't help on the rest I'm afraid.....

I think a top-up every 3 or 4 nights was all that was needed.
Are they 'proper' size single and double?
Can't say for the Littlewoods one, as the one we tried was in America - their queen-size, which is equivalent to our king-size!
Are they very heavy?

Answer to both questions: Don't know how heavy, although I think the dimensions are given in the specs in the advert. It comes in a large rectangular bag on rollers (so weight is not so much of an issue), so you can transport it like one of those large roll-along hold-alls with an extending handle. The size and weight are due to the very sturdy legs - the operation is similar to the current generation of folding chairs, but multiplied several times over. They unfold in seconds, and you just squeeze them back together again to pack them up.
Hope this helps!

Hi
Thanks for all replies. We were discussing airbeds at work last week, and saying how the new 'luxury flock' airbeds do not stay up as they should. We also commented on how 'in the old days' the rubberised cotton airbeds never let us down. I wonder if they will ever make a full height rubberised airbed?

Just had a single and a double anywhere bed delivered. Put up single which looked like picture (above) from side, but underneath only had 2 straps which crossed over in the middle. Daughter said "not sleeping on that, I wouldn't trust it". Airbed was of poor quality, and when inflated, matress did not look 'full' like in picture. They are very expensive at £59.99 for single and £99.99 for double! In my view not worth the money.
SO - how do I put camp beds under my airbed to get us up off the floor? What type of campbeds do I need. I already have 3 cheapie Argos camp beds (£7.99), would they do, or do I need the new ones which look like the anywhere bed underneath?
Thanks for all your patience and help.
Jackie H
