You might think I'm a bit daft but anyone else got the same van ? We ordered our new van elddis chatsworth 550 ( avant 550) from nec and now looking at awnings we fancy the kampa rally air pro, now they say that they fit up to 2.50 awning rail hight .the hight of new van says 2.65 on spec so anyone know if this is OK? Many thanks x

Hi, it will be fine. The height quoted for the van is the overall height which will include aerials etc.. the height quoted for awnings is the awning rail height.

Yeah, we get this a lot when people are looking at air awnings. The quoted height always includes everything you might find on the roof.
The Rally 390 pro is great as is the 400 ace... what you must know is how much flat roof space you have on your van. Just because say your van is 7-8 Mars long doesn't mean you have 4mtrs of flat roof space.

excelent awnings, we got two, one poled and one air. Yes check the straight section of roof to see if its long enough but also check to see it doesnt encroach on any windows, as you wont get a good seal against the van
