Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, I've searched but can't find it. I'm after vacuum bags with the vacuum port in a corner or at least on the edge. The ones I have (from Asda), the hole is too central so they work fine with an actual vacuum but are not all that good for rolling to squeeze the air out unless all members of the family sit on the at once. Can anyone recommend a brand? Thanks.

We use an electric pump on deflate to pack ours on return home. You need to find one with a suitable size adapter - I think ours is a Coleman, and we have Asda vacuum bags too.

Thanks for that Ronni. It will certainly help with camping but I was also going to use them to take beach towels to Spain in the summer, although I suppose there's nothing stopping me taking the pump there too.

I keep the air valve fastened, sit on the bag and contents while I, or someone else, seal the zip lock. No need for pumps, you just need a fair sized bottom 😂😂

The packmate rolls ones are what I use and they're okay for vacuum bags, I get them from Lakeland I like that they have a 5 year warranty as well as I'm able to get the towels back in the car

I got ones from Seal and Store on EBay. They come with a hand pump. I do roll on them and leave the last bit of the ziplock open to expel the air, and then finish off with the pump.
