Please can you help, I can't find the post anywhere but i'm sure I saw someone else talking about these so can someone tell me if any of these will work with our Electric pump.

Why not just fit a cigarette lighter plug to your pump and plug it into one of the sockets in the car?
Sadly not powerful enough, has to come straight off of battery via the leads, but thank you

Cannot find the power draw figures anywhere.
How many watts or amps does the unit use under load?
That will dictate the size of battery you need.
I don't know sorry, its a two stage pump, the last stage the pump is like a compresser.
Thanks for trying, just found this on an american site.
This pump can be used with a car battery, or with portable 12V 7Ah batteries that are sold on EBay along with wall charger. Optional 12V 7Ah battery fits perfectly into pump's carry bag zippered pouch.
Sealed 12V 7Ah Lead Acid Batteries and Wall Chargers are widely available on Internet

The first battery on the Screwfix link is the same rating as the one in your link above so it will do the job.

Absolutely big thank you, bought the one you suggested and have used it on holiday and it saved us unpacking the car to set up plus we can now pitch where we like and not have to leave room for the car.

I don't understand this. Your car cigarette socket is rated at 10amp but the battery you link to is only 7ah.
I'm no electrician but can't work out why you can't run that from your car socket
I'm asking because I'm actually trying to go the opposite way lol - I have the Kampa Gale pump which runs from the car cigarette socket and is great - but there may be an occasion where I have to pitch in a way where I can't get the car to the side of the tent which has the valves on. So - I need either a mahoosively long extension lead or have been considering a leisure battery with a cigar lighter socket to crocodile clips adapter. The Gale is 9.1 amps so I'm assuming I'd need a battery with preferably 10ah?
Or am I misunderstanding? DC voltages/amperages are more confusing to me than AC ones lol!

7Ah is the capacity, Like having a 7 Litre bucket.
10Amps is the current draw, or pour your water from your bucket at 10litres a minute. As the bucket is only 7 litres it will be empty before the minute is up.
Nothing stopping you pulling 50 amps from the 7Ah battery. It will just get very hot and discharge quickly.
Our little acid battery is brilliant, its about the size of a brick, quite heavy and we just put the connectors from the pump on and away it goes, it's not like a leisure battery, you can recharge them which we do before every trip.

You could get a rechargeable Campingaz pump. Also works off 12v and mains. Around £40. It inflates our full-height airbed in under 5 mins.
It will not generate high enough pressure to inflate a tent.
