I saw a link to this, on a bell tent Facebook page. I have used a Handirack and roof bag but it's a big faff to put up. This looks much more simple, so I wondered if anybody has tried this? Car-bakpak
The lower straps appear to hook onto the skirt below the bumper.
This skirt is usually an unstiffened plastic moulding not designed to be load bearing.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
The blue bag on the black car, and the blue bag on the silver car both appear to be obstructing the rear lights, albeit minimally. It could be argued same for the red bag on black car, or at least very close.
There's also been mention of scratches etc from those roof bags that sit directly on car roof... I doubt this would be much better?
Presumably has to be emptied/removed before the tailgate/boot can be opened?
Also agree with Bernie's comments about plastic bumpers.
me no likey!

I thought there was a legal requirement to have the rear number plate illuminated. I suppose a trailer board could fit and solve that problem.
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.
