OK, so I'm looking for any recommendations for a warm white LED lantern jobby. I have a Coleman CPX6 Portable LED Table Lamp which is absolutely perfect in every respect, apart from it's size! It is huge and doesn't pack up at all. I'm looking for something to be able to put on a table and have a chat [drink wine], and perhaps play cards [drink wine], not for in the actual tent which we now have lit to perfection. I already have a Coleman Dual Fuel lantern, which again is brilliant - gives the perfect warm white light, BUT quite big, and we would need to take fuel for it, and cannot be turned off and on which the flick of a switch when star gazing. Also have the Coleman CPX 6 Easy Hanging LED Lantern - which is OK, but a harsh white light (can you spot a theme here?). I'd like at least 100 lumens, warm white, ideally rechargeable batteries but happy to use normal ones, and not too large. Money not really an issue if it does what we want it to do... Any suggestions?

Thanking you all!

Don't know if the one suggested in this thread might be suitable?

Hmmmm, thanks Bob. Will have a look at those, although I'm not sure B&M have any stores down south where I am?!?

You're right! Looks as if your nearest is about 15 miles away.     Link

We use a northstar petrol lamp. Possibly overkill but nothing comes close to the control you have and the warmth for the evening ahead.

Only down side is the initial cost

If you are visiting b&m look for the Boombeatz Bluetooth Lantern

http://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/boombeatz-bluetooth-lantern-speaker-315410

We had one from John Lewis for the garden and recently bought this one which seems exactly the same for our 'new' caravan. It has a nice glow, is water proof and the added bonus of being able to play music.

😀

I've updated the thread in the second post with something that might be what you're looking for.
