Missed this at the time of the OP...
Forgive me for butting in, and indeed if I am mistaken, but assuming the megamat has the same valve set up as the Comfort 10 (which we have), with an inflate valve and a deflate valve, it might be worth a quick check first, based on this...
As you know, you open the valve with the tab to inflate, and the other valve to deflate.
However, the official instruction is to allow to fully inflate, then when physically lying on it, if any deflation is required (for personal comfort), instead of opening the deflation valve (and thus allowing the air to gush out as you are lying on it!) you open the inflation valve (the one with the tab) and then literally poke your finger inside, and ever so slightly push the valve bladder thing to allow air to escape gently/gradually.
Now, we do this, and it works well, but... finally I get to the point... it is possible that this valve bladder thing does not always re-seat properly, and you have to give it another poke, in the hope that when it bounces back, it seats perfectly, and seals properly.
This happened to me last time out, as I could hear a faint hint of air escaping from the inflation valve. I did indeed give it a poke and it bounced back to seal perfectly.
Might be worth a quick look and listen at the inflate valve, with the cap off, before sending off?
