Just bought an Outwell air beam tent.
Does anyone have experience of cooking inside this type of tent? or is it a "huddle in the doorway" kitchen?

We have the 2016 Concorde 5sATC with the awning, and the awning is used as the kitchen. If we're doing a one-nighter, and don't bother with the awning / kitchen set-up, we might just use the electric kettle in the doorway of the tent.

I don't see any reason for special consideration of cooking with this type of tent versus any other; usual precautions apply.

I guess it would be sensible not to have the heat near to or below an air beam,(of course you don't want to be too near ANY tent fabric...) but with them being so thick I guess you would set up between two beams anyway.

We cook in our Kampa Croyde, either with the porch enclosed or open, not had any probs, ours is between two beams like Trekkin has said.
