Hi,
I'm looking for a quality carpet for our Outwell Palm Coast 600. Would need 380 x 270. The outwell carpet that comes with the package doesn't look or feel good. Are Coleman carpets any good would anyone know please?
All recommendations welcome, thank you.

We had an Outwell carpet that was good. If you buy any carpet I would advise getting one slightly smaller than the tent as you do not want it curling up at the edges as you can trip over it.

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

Thanks John. Was it a recent Outwell carpet please? A few forum's I have read, people are saying the newer outwell carpets are not as good as the pre 2013 carpets.

The pre-2012 Outwell carpets were good, the first ones even better. The later ones, as you say, aren't so great and the flat weave lot worst of the lot.

Sorry I can't suggest an alternative at the moment. I've not seen any I think are very good quality. Wish I'd held onto our old Outwell ones!

It was pre 2013. Probably 2009 Outwell tent and carpet. I am disappointed that they are not as good now. We have changed to a caravan and bought a swift awning with a breathable carpet that seems good.
