Hi,
There's loads of threads on this subject, with everything as always dependant on preferences or priorities, but as always one must isolate oneself from the ground. Personally, save for the big bell tent, I don't do raised beds (sounds like gardening!) but do use a SIM. These are available in a range of thickness', and if you're not backpacking, a 10cm is luxury indeed as I've recently found out. One need not spend a fortune for a good one either.
(see Trail from ThisIsIt stores...)
Many glampers use duvets or similar, and carp fishing sleeping bags are popular and highly effective.
For cheap and effective I use a surplus winter bag for about £30 and sometimes a Czech army blanket bag...incredibly comfortable and versatile...£10-£20
None of these options will be suitable for backpacking, save the ex Military Artic bag at a push, but modern bags, be they down or synthetic are highly compressible and effective?
Anyway, something to think on?
