In between putting our sim away in July and getting it out last weekend on of the valves on our outwell serenity SIM is now leaking air. We did lend the mat to a friend in between times too...
Does anyone know if you can repair valves? I can see you can buy spare thermarest valves and guides to repairing these on youtube but nothing for Outwell mats. Gutted as these aren't cheap to replace either even if it is end of season sale time
Is it the valves leaking?
i have had an issue with 2x kampa kip 7.5 SIMs, turns out there are very small pin prick holes right near where the valve is (in the folds of the material) i'm hoping to be able to fix these small holes with stormsure, I'm not sure about getting new valves i hope our outwell deepsleep doesn't end up with a similar issue.
hmmm, I wonder if its possible to prize the cap off of the valve to check the o-ring seal is still in place and intact?
might be worth a try or try a local outwell dealer to see if they can offer any ideas or point you in the direction of the right person to contact at outwell?
