Hi , what a week when we were camping last week my wife was de stressing really well and looking more relaxed than she has for over the last month after losing her mum , until she called back to our house for a few things and returned looking distraught ,islandroads had been doing large road re-surfacing projects in our area lately and as a change of plan were going to our street and had put up no parking signs all along our street and that the road would be closed for a few days so it looked like we would be stuck with both our cars including top box and trailer full of camping gear unable to gain entry to our property so that we could have the cars free for relatives arriving for her mothers funeral service today ,however I couldnt sleep that night and emailed islandroads at 4am hoping to get a reply later in the day ,I was just going back to bed when I noticed an email on my phone ,I couldnt beleive it I had a reply straight away stating we would be able to gain access ok on the saturday as planned so disaster averted but it did look like we would have to cut short our break , and then just as we thought it was plain sailing for us to get ready for the mother in laws service today yesterday afternoon our youngest lad started with a diarrhea and sickness bug which carried on into the evening , however this morning he seems fine , both our respite carers are unavailable today so it looks like we are going to have to take him regardless of the 48hour quarantine period after a bug like that .
Anyhoo regarding my camping aftercare questions , managed to get the house clear for today done a bit of googling ,looks like the toilet just needs to be stored dry ,but couldnt find out about storing the oven so might try the veg oil out ,Cheers Ken .
just want to get this day over and done with and collapse back home tonight as I have got to go back to work on earlies tomorrow 4.30 get up  I managed to chuck something in the slow cooker for tonight as I think we are going to need a low hassle quick fix meal tonight ,sorry bout the ramble
