We have an Adria 542DK which we bought new in 2007. We find the main seating area absolutely fine for dining (the upholstery is in perfect condition) however when we convert the cushions to a bed there are significant dips making for a dodgy back after a few nights.
We are planning a 3 week holiday next summer, and I need comfort!
Does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe a decent make of mattress topper? Storage wouldn't be an issue as we'd leave the bed made up for the entire holiday.
Thanks in advance
We don't find the mattress topper helps with dips, it's too thin: it holds the cushions together & adds warmth. We changed how we arranged the cushions & that sorted our similar problem.
You might do better with a memory foam topper, though it's bulky.
I just put a double camping sim, ie self inflating mat over my made dinette bed & it is comfortable enough with a towelling mattrass cover & fitted sheet over sim. I leave bed made up. Not an Adria though.
We bought a Dorma Tencel memory foam mattress topper from Dunelm Mill last year. 150 pounds for the double size but worth every penny for a decent night's sleep.
I've been having back problems at home despite an orthopaedic mattress. OH reckons it's fine. So I have been using her stiffish palates mat to give more support my side. Works fine - but I've been told to get my own !!!!!
Mat is nearly an inch thick

We bought a memory foam mattress topper from one of those bargain stores, can't remember which one but maybe B&M. It was under £50 and works really well. We roll it up with sheets and duvet and everything on it and stick it in the shower during the day.
hi,
we have same problem the knee roll cause dips and the buttons on our cushion leave a bruise. For me 2 dog beds £1.99 from homebargins works fine, for my husband just turn cushion over.

If you always leave the bed made, maybe you should take the cushions out & go for the more comfortable made to measure mattress
Just what I was going to saythats what we've done, doesn't need to be expensive just a slab of decent foam will do it, reflex for example. I've made a fitted cover for ours to protect the foam.
Cushions are stacked up at home should we ever change our minds.
