We had a Walker (Isabella clone) full awning with a carbonx frame on a seasonal pitch in Snowdonia, where the weather can be fierce.
The frame stood up well with no problems, but the plastic bayonet fittings needed replacing every year - cost a fiver and ten minutes work.
Plenty of pegs (double at the four corners,) storm straps etc. Damage happens when a bit gets loose and starts flapping about.
