As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We have had two, first a 10kg bottle and then sold it and bought a 7kg bottle as the 10kg would not fit in the new caravan. We refill when out and about and it cost less than a Calor refill. To fill the 10kg bottle was less than £14.00
Refillable cylinders can be filled with whatever lpg available butane or propane. Usually you will be filling from autogas pump which will be a mix of both depending on winter or summer. If you are using it with a 30mb bulkhead regulator then the mix does not matter but obviously you want propane in cold weather.
Just bought a safe fill bottle due to the cock up Calor seem to be making with Calor Lite situation. Will never look back . Bought 7kg bottle just filled it from completely empty cost me just over £6 . Bottle cost me £140 but soon get money back and only need to carry 1 bottle.
------------- It's not what you take when you leave this world behind, it's what you leave behind when you're gone
I went for safefill.
reduced from 2 to one bottle, cheap to fill, saved about 15kg.
I all honesty the cost will take me years to recover but the weight and extra space in the locker are worth it on their own.
Guys, having started this post I have to say thanks for all the info. I won't be taking it up though as I use about a quarter of a Calor lite bottle in a year so not financially worth it. I don't use gas at all in UK, and found a place where I can get a gas bottle in Spain without a contract for 18 euros, REPSOL exchangeable at garages. May take it up once Calor litres are finished. Happy touring. Regards
