this season im going to buy a awning that i can keep up all season om my all yr pitch
only thing is my pitch is sloping so caravan is higher from the ground at the front and lower to the ground at the back to make caravan level
how will i put the awning up
there are no videos showing how to put up a awning on a sloping pitch
so any advice would be welcome

fit the awning so that the awning runs true to the slope of the ground, not to the level of the caravan

wouldnt that make the awning wonkey
im new to caravaning so never fitted a awning everything i say is just guessing really

When you pull the awning through the track, have more at the front than at the back so it follows the slope of the ground.

wouldnt moving the awning along more make the centre and centre pole and both sides all off kilt

Yes but the canvas, especially the bottom of the walls, will more or less follow the line of the ground. The poles are all adjustable to suit.

Yes the back and front end panels will need a bit of adjusting to get as right as possible. The caravan will be level so although the ground will be low at the front the caravan will be even higher. Pulling more awning through will mean there is enough to reach the ground.

Poles will simply move along the caravan.

i wish there was videos showing ppl put awnings up on sloping pitches but i cant find any
