Hi everyone

First post for what seems a long time...

Just bought a second hand three way fridge. Flame comes on gas and cooled nicely. However question about the flame... it is blue with what appears an orange core. Picture on phone is pathetic though. Normal or something to address?

Flame should be blue but insects, cobwebs and grease may cause orange, have it serviced by a qualified caravan gas safe engineer. In particular you need to know carbon monoxide is not an issue.

Do caravan engineers service portable ones? It's a quest supercool 45. Servicing looks relatively straight forward

Yes, I suspect that burner has excess dust but to be safe it needs a service by a competent person. Get a service engineer that is Gas Safe.

Clean the burner yourself if you can get to high pressure airline or use meths & a small paintbrush.
