I am probably going to change as in title This is mainly to avoid the tricky nature of clip on regulators I will purchase 6 kg
Question 1)Is it as simple as it appears-exchange regulators and replace new jubilee clip
Q 2) Is the brand new orange hose(Just had caravan serviced) compatible for but/prop?
Q 3)is the new regulator I need easy to identify and compatible with Calor and Flogas 6 kg propane
Thanks Steve
It’s as simple as changing regulators. You can use existing hose. Cut through hose just behind regulator. Then dip end of hose into cup of boiling water to soften. Then push on new regulator & secure with jubilee clip.
Calor propane regulators are red. 6kg Calor propane bottle has specific screw on regulator. Flogas regulator might be different. You will need to choose which make of bottle you want first then buy specific regulator for that bottle. Supplier will advise.
I bought a UK gas canister,(Go Outdoors), and then replaced it in Spain for a Butane. Am now back in UK. Who if anybody will exchange a Butane canister?
Not sure whether you mean an exchangeable cylinder (Campingaz R901/904/907 for example, which you could "trade in" for a full one at almost any camping outlet) or an unused disposable cartridge?

Just remember to slide the jubilee clip on the hose before pushing it on to the regulator. I am sure we have all forgot to do that at some point!
