+1 for Duvalay Gold.

We use two singles on the double bed made up from the front benches. It has improved the comfort of the bed immeasurably....miles better than before.

During the day we strap them up and put them under the near side bench seat (just like Bofs does).

We keep them in the sheets we bought from Duvalay too so making up the front double is also much quicker than it used to be (no trying to fight a fitted sheet onto the bed!

It is expensive for an initial outlay but works for us.

We eventually bought a topper from amazon. Only £30 so weren’t sure how good it would be. It’s fab. Makes such a difference. On a morning rolls up and kept in place by using a belt and stores in our shower room. Wish we had bought it years ago.

The more comfort you want, the harder it will be to store.

Even the thin mattress toppers are surprisingly comfortable.

We bought a cheap memory foam topper from The Range, about £30 if I remember correctly? It is a double bed size, and we use it when we make up the bed in our Lunar Lexon caravan, as we find the seating is just a bit too firm for us when using it as a bed. We have found it has lasted well, and it came with its own cotton cover already fitted. We then open up a sleeping bag and put on top of that, and finally a lightweight quilt as I feel too restricted inside a sleeping bag. The whole set up is very comfortable. My wife made a bag in which to store the topper, with a string pull around the top of the bag. It packs away fairly small once rolled up, and we store it under the seating during the day. Hope that helps?
