Hi all, what’s a good light/lights to light the inside of a 6 man tent (Kampa Holkham/Filey)
Not sure if a few smaller lights are better than one big one hanging in the middle? Don’t really want a super bright white light might be a bit artificial
we use a mechanics work light. Put any bulb you want in it.

I bought an LE 1000 lumen battery powered LED light. It is too harsh on full power, but has a warm white mode that is more pleasing on the eye. And it is dimmable. About £16 on Amazon, if I recall correctly.
If you want smaller powered lights, Lidl are doing 1W LED lanterns for £2.99. I bought one for my son to use in the tent bedroom; not bad at all.
Bulkhead Lantern works for us, fitted with 105w Halogen BC regular style bulb.
The Lantern has 7m of .75mm rubber cable and inline rotary dimmer control, inline 6amp double pole rocker switch, terminated with 13amp plug fitted with 3amp fuse.
Nothing on the market quite like it, build cost was £20.
Being Halogen when set low, it gives a lovely almost honey glow, and at full tilt provides more than enough brightness to fill our 5 berth tent.
