We dont have any Wilkinson stores up here but if I find one when we are on hols you can bet your bottom dollar I am in there shopping. They are great.

Before we go on hols I look on website to see if there are any of their stores near where we are going lol.

wilco's is one of those shops you pop in 'just for a tube of toothpaste' and end up spending about 30 quid. It's definitely worth a visit or two or three

When I take my daughter dancing on a Wednesday, I need to kill an hour of time and Wilkos is the only store open until 6pm in the town.  I wish they wouldn't as I spend far too much in there every week!!  LOL

Can't agree with the other posts more.  Once you have been lured in you will never get out.  Brill for kids bits, party bags etc and especially for seasonal bits eg christmas and easter!  Check out the website if you haven't already done so it will give you an idea.

Don't know about the rest but our local Wilko's even has high speed checkouts where you 'bleep' your own goods out through a machine that talks to you. Though I guess this is not good for local employment.

Things I have bought from Wilko..... paint, wallpaper, toothpaste, hinges, screws, jigsaw (powertool, not puzzle), jigsaw (puzzle, not powertool), bicycle innertube, beer brewing equipment, lampshade, bedside lamp, socks, bleach, toilet paper, pans, window blinds..... and still got change from a shilling...lol
