Now I already own a Weber Q120, used it for about 4 years worth of camping at least now and it has been fine but we are finding it is quite large to pack into our trailer and cleaning it is a faff. As it gets older, more and more of the older deposits are harder to clean and it never gets completely clean. When I take it out of storage in spring it's always a bit mouldy and I have to pressure hose it down.
So I was wondering what people though of the cadac safari? Although it has s smaller cooking surface (we are a family of four) it looks like it would be a lot easier to clean and store.
We have the Grillogas, and we use it a lot, it's a similar product by the look of it.
The griddle is so easy to clean so far totally non stick still after 3 years, no residue left on it to go mouldy. and all packs away in a bag. apart from the lid which we keep in the box it came in.
Wanted a Webber as we have one at home, but at the time the price was a deciding factor as Go Outdoors had our one on a good offer.
Had a couple of Cadacs over the years. great pieces of kit that are robust and easy to look after. However I found that I could never get a big flame out of them, meaning that they took a while to get up to a good bbq temperature and cooking took quite a while. tried different regulators etc but no joy. Recently changed to a Weber Q1200 and what joy. more expensive but at least it gets hot and hot quickly. Wouldn't go back to a Cadac.
