Hi I purchased a limpet fix kit set to go with my Kampa air awning and they work great unfortunately when I removed the limpet from my van it has badly damaged the graphic it has left a round mark, I have checked the instructions and there is no warning in regards to this. Be warned! all attempts to contact Kampa have been ignored. Has anyone else had this problem and any advice regarding possible solution to stop this happening again.Thanks

The only thing you can do as far as I am aware is to punch another hole for limpet fitment away from your graphics.

I had the same problem and used a belt hole punch to make extra hole.

We were aware of this issue and always avoided the decals however we bought a new pack of limpets last week and that stated don�t use on the stickers, suggests to me that Kampa may have changed their packaging at some point.
Update it was a tag on every single limpet that stated do not place on decals.

Search the web. Nearly bought some of these but reviews very negative. They work well but leave an imprint, if you have ally walls then they can damage them.

I have heard similar stories about the Kampa limpets actually so I declined and bought the two vertical quick release upright poles instead which I consider are much better. The limpets are only practical anyway if the caravans sides are flat as some of the older caravans (like mine) have grooves along the whole length at intervals vertically and seen that out of the 4 punched holes in the material, only 2 of them lined up so would have been a waste of money buying the limpets.

We find the limpets are really good BUT they do leave what I call 'coffee cup' ring marks on the caravan. We have found that they do fade and we make sure we don't tighten the limpets too much.

we have a sterling eccles quartz with a grey design between door and window, thanks to limpets we now have a white circle on the grey design
