drives my husband up the wall if someone has a flag flapping about at the top of a pole, he has very sensitive hearing and finds it impossible to sleep with the noise it makes. Me? Need hearing aids to hear properly so it doesn't bother me much. However the bright lights that people seem to need attached to the poles does irritate me as I'd much rather see the stars at night. Not sure I get the point of them as surely it's not that hard to find your pitch?
