Hello

hope your all well

Hello do hope you are well

I am in need of an adaptor to enable me to use a Coleman perfect flow grill in the uk with a larger propane uk bottle to save on costs.

I can seem to find anything and wondered if anyone had any current advice

the below you tube shows a adaptor however these are all from America and rather expensive I would prefer to buy cheaper and from the UK

please see the example below

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMD1AHZhQ-U

so I am looking to attach it to a 3.9 or 6 kg bottle as below

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/183190803720?clk_rvr_id=1593004409715&vectorid=229508&lgeo=1&item=183190803720&rmvSB=true

my question is do you know any thing that will fit that is easy to get hold of in the uk??

https://www.coleman.com/regulator-assy/R430B565T.html

https://www.coleman.com/5-ft-152-m-high-pressure-propane-hose--adapter/2000014877.html

so this is from the manufacturer site in the USA I need to link the grill stove

as below to a UK propane bottle if possible

https://www.coleman.com/camp-propane-grillstove/2000020929.html

any ideas??????

thanks for any help I may just have to get rid of the grill as the canisters are so expensive but if I can get a adaptor that would be great

Hi, I do not, maybe that should be 'we' do not know which of the Coleman appliances you are using/have.
also if you could let us know if you have the small pressurised canisters or not, to fuel it, and identify which grill it is you have. You will get help.
Coleman products are very common in the uk.
Every time I try to get onto youtube to view I make a mistake somewhere in my typing, and the videos I have watched, may not be of the Coleman product you have.
If you could put in a picture of it (not that I am able to do that LOL)you will get replies. Good Luck.

Hi, I don't have the same grill as you but have a grill, and a northstar lamp, which uses the same canisters. In searching around I could not find anything in the UK and for my own peace of mind ordered a high pressure hose from the states which works perfectly with a UK propane bottle - we take a 3.9kg one and I can't tell you how long it lasts but it's certainly a lot longer than the £10-£15 a pop small canisters, of which we got through 3(?) for a long weekend. Best of luck.

I permanently modified our coleman regulator to run it off a larger propane bottle. I cut off the bit that screws into the Coleman gas bottle and attached a piece of gas hose to connect an adjustable propane regulator. It works great and I have far greater control over the heat than before and no burnt food.
