With my return to camping with a basic FC imminent, I'm looking into becoming self sufficient to take advantage of THS with the C&CC that I accidentally joined (don't ask). Not that I'm adverse to nipping in the hedge at night but SWMBO objects.

There's a package on ebay at £35.95 Obviously the guys and pegs would have to be uprated to something much more substantial as those supplied will be cheap and nasty.
I wondered if any tent/Fc users have anything similar.
Outdoor world offers something similar for double the price with toilet rolls and fluid included but I think that's taking the pee...no pun intended.

My apologies.

Olpro do a Pop up utility /toilet tent but I've never seen the whole tent/loo package before. I'd just wonder what the tent quality is like, since wouldn't want any mishaps or could result in an embarrassing situation.

We had a pop up toilet tent for when we had a mixed family group join us camping. It was fine. It housed the portapotti and a wash hand basin on a small table. The only problem was at night if you used a light, it allowed a shadow to been seen..... I never had any ptoblem collapsing it down. I viewed a video on utube and found it easy.

Biting the bullet I went for the £35 option.
The tent is very easy to fold down but as I said it will have much sturdier pegs to hold it down.
The actual loo is quite robust and of a good size for adult useage.
The instructions did cause a bit of a titter....

I’m going to take a wild stab in the dark and hazard a guess that the toilet was made in China.

Squat toilets are pretty common in south east Asia, and yes, there are people who find it hard to shake the habit. Signs like these are quite common in western-style toilets in those countries.
