Hello everyone
My husband is South African and has a Skottel but it has never 'worked' properly in the uk.
This is because, we believe, calor gas cylinders have to be used with a regulator which restricts the flow of gas to the Skottel so the Skottel cannot operate like a wok where the gas flame covers the whole underside of the Skottel.
We have been led to believe that there is such a thing as a regulator bypass for calor gas cylinders. Is this true? Where can we get one?! Or does anyone have any other ideas or thoughts on how to get the most out of a Skottel?
Thanks so much!
