Hi,we are picking up our new caravan soon. but need to buy a new battery.we are having a bit of trouble finding the size of the battery box .so if anyone has a altea severn dk 542 2018 what size battery do we need? Also a spare wheel needs to be sourced any help /advise welcomed.Thanks Pam.

If it's a new van then it should come with a battery, spare wheels are extras on some models but according to the spec this comes with a spare wheel

Sourcing a spare wheel for a new caravan, you've been had , it should come with it fitted and haggle for a new battery as opposed to a very cheap plastic caravan step 😉

The haggle fell on deaf ears... l must b e losing my skills but we have got it for a good(ish) price. Even after buying spare and battery.so long as it isn't a leaky bucket l will be happy.thanks for the help. Pam

We looked at the Adria Altea range.
The dealer we visited pointed out that they didnt include a spare wheel, battery or t.v. aerial in the price new.
However they would happily fit and sell them to us.
We decided that we would look elsewhere.
Go look for a good second hand one and hopefully get it, and perhaps more, all included.
