Hi all, I'm looking for some advice if anyone can help. We've just ordered a new Swift Eccles 580, which is replacing our 2007 Swift Charisma 590, the question I have is will our Dorema awning which was bought for the Charisma fit our new Eccles? The awning has only been used around four times so we are loathe to buy a new one. The awning size for the Charisma says 1048 on the spec and the Eccles says 1020 on it's spec. The awning we have is a very small fit so I'm assuming it may be ok but would really like some advice on this. If we sell the awning how much do they generally sell for secondhand and what lightweight awning would you recommend if we decide to buy one? Thanks in advance

Which awning will get a different answer from every buyer as their pocket and requirements differ.

What do they fetch depends on the time of year and the size and the location. Posting is costly.

I think the best time to sell camping gear is before the first bank holiday of the year, a few weeks before easter is a good time (I think).

If it doesn't fit you can always get it altered.
They insert or remove a triangular piece of material on the caravan side leaving the outside with the original dimension.
Mine cost about £90 to make it a couple of feet longer and you can barely see where it has been done.
