Hi. Can anyone help me find the fitting for this stove please? It's an older, grey model, Aldi Adventuridge (SunnCamp) dual burner with grill.
I have contacted an online company with this photo and they think it could be a 3/8 female fitting (about £2.50) but aren't sure. I don't understand how the fittings work because it looks like the diameter is 13mm+ and 3/8 is only 9mm.
I've also contacted SunnCamp who won't tell me what I need but said they will sell me the fitting for £16.99. I would then need to buy the pipe, regulator and clips. I'm not even sure it works and can buy a new cooker with the fittings and gas bottle for £40+ so I don't want to spend that much testing it.
Sunngas/Sunncamp are the same. Yes, the connectors are stupid money but some of those older model stoves can knock spots off later offerings. It depends on how much you rate the stove you have and if the outlay is worth it to you.
It will have had a connector when new. Have you lost it or acquired the stove used, but missing the nozzle?
surplusandoutdoors.com have it in stock and they are slightly cheaper. They are based in Kidderminster (DY10 1QN) I don't know how far away from you that is.
Sorry for the delay in replying. The cooker has been sitting in the shed for years as we use the caravan more. I want to use it in the shed on the allotment but can't find the fitting. Thank you both for your help :) After your comments, I think I will buy the fitting.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
are you sure its not 1/2 inch thread? it looks like it could be, so would take 15mm copper tube with an olive? you can get bsp fittings from b&q so you can try them and take them back ....
