Yes artificial grass is very heavy, did our small back garden with good quality artificial grass and believe me it is heavy.
Seen it used on caravan seasonal pitches, and looks really good on hard standing pitches.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I honestly love fake grass. We have a couple of foot wipe size on our double step,to get the real grass off of our footwear. BUT if you had a big roll of the stuff it would be very difficult to find a place for it while 'on the road'. The weight as stated previously, could be a problem also.

Some campsites provide grass for free.
I have never known campsites provide anything for free
I usually get given pens and keyrings when I leave French campsites. I also get Christmas cards (automated). One owner took pity on us backpackers and gave us jetons for the shower and washing machine for nothing and, no, we weren't manky.
I have never had anything for free in an Irish campsite except for the occasional one that has free showers but I have been given a lot of free opinions by owners.

Thinking of getting artificial grass for use under my canopy does anyone use this and could recommend a type?
Is it for a seasonal pitch? If not, then agree with the sentiments above, too heavy and bulky. But if for a seasonal pitch then could be good , assuming the site would allow it
