We have a Kampa Airpro, but thinking a sun canopy might be a good idea for the summer and odd nights away. After recommendations for the best and easiest?
We’ve got This one from Obelink. It’s a single piece of Tencate sailcloth with a beading sewn on one side. It's strong and waterproof, and doesn’t leak.
On occasions we have needed to put extra guy lines on, and now have a set of marquee pegs too - when it gets windy, one remembers it is a sail.
Hi guys
Was about to post the same question but will bump this one up instead!
I'm looking for something that can deal with a rain shower rather than sun canopy I suspect.
Can anyone advise on anything a little sturdier than the suggestions ?
We have one of these … on our caravan. Very quick and easy to wind out/in …. can also use a sunscreen (sides and/or front … they are see through and reduce sun by about 80%).
We like to think our sun canopies are pretty good, they fit all size campervans and have 3 adjustable poles so you can change the height of them. They come in 3 different colours too :)
We have an Omnistore which more or less permanently lives on our caravan. We originally bought it for travelling abroad, but also use it in the UK. It provides a bit a shelter form the elements, whether rain or sun and also gives the illusion of a little additional privacy. We tend to have a table outside when we are on site, which holds our beer fridge and various bits of overflow food etc. Works a treat. We haven't really used either a main awning or a porch awning for years, other than when our son came with us and we needed the additional bedroom space. We bought the Omnistore a second-hand couple of caravans ago via EBay.
