HI! everyone, Just a quick question to you people who use a small fan heater on electric hook up , i've just had a nice little 2 Kw fan heater with 2 speed settings and thermostat given, question is if you leave it on in your unit through the night , dos'nt the blower on it keep you awake when the Thermo kicks in ????

Best

I leave it on a low setting if it is really cold because the cold keeps me awake more than when the thermo kicks in.  I use ear plugs anyway, so it isn't a problem for me.

The anti frost thermo would only kick in around 0 degrees C or there abouts.
It was snowing last time we went camping and we had the fan heater on ALL NIGHT blowing into the sleeping compartment.
The noise is so constant and unfluctuating it's just background and doesn't interfere.

It's quite a soothing sleepy sort of noise, sends me to sleep. If it is really irritating then get a convector instead as they are quiet, although they take up more room.

I was using an oil filled radiator in my motorhome but found it didn't chuck out enough heat last weekend in the folding camper so I'm going back to a fan heater for cold nights - may resort to the convector I used to use if I can't live with the noise, but the fan is so much smaller can go in a cupboard when not in use.
