I have one of the above lights(the 150) and what I have found is that my remote control works the sabre lights in two other close by awnings, which we joke about but some people might find it annoying. We all have the same problem. We have tried resetting but the problem still persists. Waiting for a reply from Kampa. Anyone else with the same problem.

I've heard of this several times, the remotes are all clearly common, which obviously isn't great when you're sited near other users of the same product. I doubt Kampa will do anything (I'd be suprised if they acknowledge you); it's pretty much like any remote control, eg same brand TV controls all coded alike.

Thanks Paul, I was hoping for an answer to the problem but it's as I suspected. One frequency fits all. Still waiting for the Kampa reply zzzzzz......
       Thanks again,

How odd, just found this:

https://www.kampa.co.uk/brochures/instructions/lighting/sabrelinkinstructions.pdf

It seems you pair the remote with the controller and all; controllers in range which are plugged in will be paired with it. Fine if only yours are in range but not if its your neighbours.

I wonder if pairing with yours whilst the others are unplugged it will stop it. Perhaps you can pair at home when only yours is around.

Navver's link seems to suggest you should be able to pair independently, but I'd be suprised if this were the case. These generic 'off the shelf' devices rarely have the sophistication to provide the required level of independence.

Clive, let us know how you get on?

Hi Paul
Navver's link seems like a plan, but I'm not holding my breath. My caravan neighbour has taken his home,so here's hoping. Nothing on YouTube. Not in the caravan until Whitsun, so I will let you know.
            Regards
                 Clive

Hi all.

One thing I have found is that the Remote suddenly loses "connectivity" to the actual light itself. I then have to try to re-set the thing, but it is quite annoying. Anyone else have this issue? If so and you've stopped it happening can you tell me how please?

Cheersmidears.

Try switching the Sabre Link lights ON at the manual button at the end of the strip light first then the light should illuminate then press the two buttons on the remote simultaneously which should reset the connectivety.

We have the The Sabre Link 48 strip lights which after looking are not identical. If you look at the link below you will see the Sabre Link 48 has the manual ON/OFF button at one end but it looks like the 150 doesn't unless it has a switch right on the end of the light so you will have to look and see if there is.

Ah. Ours is the 150. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have the manual switch, but I'll need to check.

Thanks anyway :)
